Ready to Go

We have two supply bags packed and ready to go to South Africa in one week!  Thanks to my dear friend, Pam for her donation of 50 infant gowns and socks.  We have 100 Mommy & Me bags packed and will take more if we get approval from the airlines to check more bags.  My sister, Glyniss, has provided us with 40 heavenly snuggles that are very sweet and a much needed resource for the Mom's of the babies who are with Jesus.  We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family!!!

Thanks to much to my sweet friends:  Shelly, Pam, Amber and Sylvia for getting all of the Mommy & Me bags put together and packed.  Each bag contains: hat, gown, socks, bib, washcloth for Mom, washcloth for baby, and a baby blanket.  When we get to South Africa, we will add baby wash  and Vaseline to the bags.  We are thrilled to learn that we can get the Mommy and Me booklets printed in South Africa and will add the 8 page booklet to the bag upon arrival.  The booklet is a huge expense but a much needed resource that we have worked on all year.  Thanks to our Princess of Graphics, Laurie Croft, for her design expertise!  Thank you God for sending people who are willing to serve YOU and bless us!

Horray, God!!!

Horray....I finally got logged back into the blog spot account!  I promise that I will not forget the password and get myself locked out again. :)

 There are so many wonderful things that have happend in the last 3 months...God is so amazing!  Many friends have blessed us with their talents, time and financial gifts.  Thank y'all from the bottom of my heart....we could not do what we do without each one of YOU!

 The team will be leaving for South Africa in 36 days and we are getting excited.  To date, we have 46 Mommy & Me bags put together and packed.  We are hoping to carry 135 with us this year.  We took 100 in 2011 and 25 in 2010.

This past week, I had been questioning God about project elle....is this HIS will & am I being obedient to HIS will for this ministry?  For the next three days after this prayer, 3 different people sent in a fianancial contribution...I am continually stunned by HIS love & grace. 

It is hard to believe that God entrusted me, a sinful, ordinary gal from Roscoe, TX, with this ministry.  That is just proof that HE is still in the miracle business!!! Praising the One Risen Son of God!
